Role Overview

You will play a central role in Aalborg Portland’s procurement operations, collaborating with colleagues across Denmark, Norway, and Italy. The position involves influencing sourcing strategies, supporting investments projects, and helping deliver on Aalborg Portland’s strategic and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing projects for technical equipment, components, and services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes
• Support investment projects in collaboration with Production, Maintenance, and Investment teams

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in technical or commercial procurement, with a strong technical understanding and comfort interpreting technical drawings. Experience in manufacturing, procurement and supplier management is important, along with analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach. Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, or similar ERP systems is desirable. Fluency in English and the ability to operate effectively in an international environment are required.
