Primary responsibilities
- Leading the redesign and modernization of the portal’s front end using a modern JavaScript framework (e.g. React, Vue)
- Collaborating with backend developers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate data and user needs into intuitive interfaces
- Improving the portal’s usability, accessibility, and performance
- Contributing to the design and implementation of new features and visualizations
- Supporting user testing and feedback loops to continuously refine the user experience
- Participating in the design of new concepts as the portal expands in scope and functionality
- Supporting and enhancing our analytic module, which includes interactive visualizations and dashboards
- Implementing and maintaining tools for tracking user behavior (e.g. Matomo) to help us better understand how the portal is used and where improvements can be made.
Your skills
- JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, or similar.
- HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
- Data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) or dashboard frameworks.
- Accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization.
- Tools for tracking and analyzing user behavior (e.g. Matomo).
- Version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
- Working in agile, collaborative development environments.
