Primary responsibilities

  • Leading the redesign and modernization of the portal’s front end using a modern JavaScript framework (e.g. React, Vue)
  • Collaborating with backend developers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate data and user needs into intuitive interfaces
  • Improving the portal’s usability, accessibility, and performance
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of new features and visualizations
  • Supporting user testing and feedback loops to continuously refine the user experience
  • Participating in the design of new concepts as the portal expands in scope and functionality
  • Supporting and enhancing our analytic module, which includes interactive visualizations and dashboards
  • Implementing and maintaining tools for tracking user behavior (e.g. Matomo) to help us better understand how the portal is used and where improvements can be made.

Your skills

  • JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, or similar.
  • HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
  • Data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) or dashboard frameworks.
  • Accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization.
  • Tools for tracking and analyzing user behavior (e.g. Matomo).
  • Version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Working in agile, collaborative development environments.
