Your position

The position is full time and is based at our Houston office, located in the hub of the energy industry. You can expect approximately 40-60 travel days per year, including offshore surveys and on-site project executions.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting large projects with technical inputs to keep delivery on time, quality, and cost
  • Helping track progress and risks through recurrent project check-ins and reviews
  • Making sure project work follows Semco Maritime standards, processes, and HSE requirements
  • Taking the lead on smaller projects or work packages when needed, including day‑to‑day coordination
  • Working closely with customers and internal teams to keep execution smooth and aligned

Your profile and qualifications

To succeed in this position, we expect that you have:

  • A higher technical education, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar engineering discipline
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the maritime or offshore segment
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other relevant engineering tools
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A valid US work visa (e.g. Green Card) or US citizenship
  • Availability for offshore and international project travel

(Valid offshore credentials are an advantage but not required)
