Endokrinologi Laborant - Spermaanalyse Herlev

We are looking for a highly dedicated research assistant or technician at Division of Translational Endocrinology, Department of Endocrinology and Internal Medicine, Copenhagen University Hospital – Herlev and Gentofte.

The position:

At the Division of Translational Endocrinology, you will be part of a translational team with backgrounds in molecular biology, medicine, human biology, and molecular biomedicine that works together to investigate the clinical implications of altered endocrine crosstalk between the pituitary, gonads, adrenal, kidney, and bone.

The candidate we are looking for will be involved in several projects, but the majority of the work will be on a project that aims to examine whether a novel treatment strategy can improve semen quality in infertile men. Ideally the candidate has experience with semen analysis (sperm count, motility, DNA fragmentation, morphology assessment). Additionally, experience with automated semen analysis (CASA, NC-3000 etc.), handling of patient samples, immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence, or ELISA-based hormone analyses would be an advantage.

This is a one-year fixed-term position, starting from 1st May 2026 or as soon as possible hereafter. The position is fully funded for one year, but with the possibility of an extension.

We are seeking a skilled research assistant with an MSc background (in human biology, molecular biomedicine, molecular biology, or biology) or a research technician. It is required that you have extensive experience with laboratory work, including a broad range of techniques and experience working in a research environment. We expect that you are ambitious, enthusiastic, hard-working, and that you work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
