We are looking for:

• Ship Mechanics

for marine industry in Denmark

Scan Con offers jobs at the Shipyards on Reparation and New Build Departments.

Key tasks:

• Install, repair, modify, or maintain diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, electrical and electronics systems, and marine powertrains

• Carry out maintenance, repair, and servicing of boats and other marine vessels

• Replace or repair parts, using hand tools and power tools, including hoists, jacks, wrenches, and screwdrivers

• Diagnose mechanical problems with electrical and electronic components, using electrical test equipment

• Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, or mechanical devices

Skills:

• English – must be able to communicate in English

• Knowledge of engine systems

• Knowledge of boat systems and components

• Knowledge of mechanical principles and their application to marine systems

• Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety

• Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers

• Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines

Experience:

• Experience from shipyards

• Education or professional experience in a given position
