We are looking for:

• Ship Electricians

for marine industry in Danmark

Scan Con offers jobs at the Shipyards on Reparation and New Build Departments.

Key tasks:

• Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on ships

• Troubleshoot, diagnose electrical problems and find solutions

• Maintain electrical equipment and oversee the installation of new electrical systems

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations

• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components

• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance

• May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices

• Performs other duties as required

Skills:

• English – must be able to communicate in English

• Must know how to read and interpret various types of plans and sketches

• Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety

• Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers

• Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience:

• Experience from shipyards

• Education or professional experience in a given position
