We are looking for Shipyard Workers:

• Sandblasters

for marine industry in Denmark

Scan Con offers jobs at the Shipyards on Reparation and New Build Departments.

Key tasks:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, and potentially using chemical rinses

• Removing dirt, paint, rust, and another build-up

• Preparing surfaces for painting or other finishes

• Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment, ensuring safety and quality of work

• Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, or mechanical devices

• Inspect finished surfaces for smoothness, defects, and ensure the desired quality

• Perform general clean-up duties, including the workspace and equipment

Skills:

• English – must be able to communicate in English

• Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety

• Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers

• Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines

Experience:

• Experience from shipyards

• Education or professional experience in a given position
