Beskrivelse af jobtilbuddet for Adjunkt

The Faculty of Law invites applications for an assistant professorship in copyright law, cultural diversity and Artificial Intelligence (AI) law starting on 1 August 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The assistant professorship is a fixed-term position from 1 August 2026 to 8 July 2028.

Job responsibilities

The assistant professorship is situated at the Centre for Information and Innovation Law (CIIR). We seek a strong candidate with research interest and/or experience in the areas of copyright law, cultural diversity and AI. Moreover, prior knowledge of general issues of intellectual property rights and competition law is required.

We are particularly interested in candidates with prior experience from interdisciplinary research projects involving the intersection between law and AI.

Further information about the CIIR center’s activities and overall research agenda can be found at https://jura.ku.dk/ciir/english/about/

An assistant professorship is a further-education post. The main responsibilities are research and research-based teaching, as well as knowledge sharing with the rest of society. The successful candidate must complete a mandatory teacher-training course designed especially for assistant professors. The assistant professor must be able to contribute to both the faculty’s scholarly activities, including examinations, and to perform administrative tasks.

Since the work will be divided equally between teaching and research (including administration and communication), applicants must document competencies in these areas.

Applicants are encouraged to find out more about the faculty’s research, educations and variety of different subjects at the faculty’s website: www.jura.ku.dk.

The faculty emphasizes presence in the daily research and teaching environment. Applicants who do not reside in Denmark must consider how they want to ensure that they are an active and participating part of the research and teaching environment regularly.
